| 中文描述 | PARELAPHOSTRONGYLUS TENUUIS，一種白尾鹿的寄生蟲，在鹿的數量很多的地方可能意外感染反芻獸造成CNS疾病的臨床症狀。鹿圓屬（ELAPHOSTRONGYLUS），一種斯堪地那維亞馴鹿中樞神經系統的線蟲引起綿羊和山羊這種症候群。症狀視寄生蟲在CNS中的位置而定，並且會有盈虧變化。CSF有時會出現嗜酸性細胞增加。由屍體解剖時寄生蟲鑑定診斷。垂直導向的皮膚搔癢和表皮脫落可見於山羊，可能是因為背神經根的病灶。 |

| 英文描述 | PARELAPHOSTRONGYLUS TENUUIS, a parasite of white-tailed deer, can aberrantly infect ruminants in areas with a high deer population causing clinical signs of CNS disease. ELAPHOSTRONGYLUS, a nematode of the central nervous system of Scandinavian reindeer, has caused this syndrome in sheep and goats. Signs depend on the location of the parasite in the CNS and may wax and wane. CSF eosinophilia is sometimes present. Dx by identification of the parasite at necropsy. Vertically oriented skin pruritus and excoriation may be seen in goats, and are possibly due to dorsal nerve root lesions. |
